The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BROADCASTERS is moving to new headquarters at the corner of South Capitol and M Streets SE in WASHINGTON's Capitol Riverfront neighborhood by FALL 2018, the organization announced today. The NAB's move is pursuant to an agreement reached with developer MONUMENT REALTY and its investment partners ANGELO, GORDON AND CO., and will be financed through the sale of the current NAB headquarters near DUPONT CIRCLE. One mile south of the Capitol, the new headquarters will be two blocks from NATIONALS PARK, home of the WASHINGTON NATIONALS.
NAB President/CEO GORDON SMITH said, "We're thrilled that we have found a new home. The new building will be a showcase venue for radio and television stations across AMERICA, and will send a strong message to public policymakers on the vibrant future of local broadcasting."
