CUMULUS Classic Hits WLS-F/CHICAGO morning man JACK DIAMOND has returned to the airwaves after an extended absence.
In JANUARY (NET NEWS 1/14), DIAMOND explained to listeners on his FACEBOOK page, "Sorry I’ve been absent for a few days. I have been dealing with some serious stomach issues, doctor appointments and trying to make some tough decisions. I hope to return to CHICAGO absolutely as soon as possible. I thank the wonderful staff there for being supportive, professional and kind."
ROBERT FEDER reports, "DIAMOND, 60, was last heard on the CUMULUS MEDIA Classic Hits station in late DECEMBER when he returned home to WASHINGTON, D.C., for treatment of diverticulitis. He underwent surgery JANUARY 20th and has been recuperating since."
