JVC BROADCASTING Country WOTW (103.1 THE WOLF)/ORLANDO will add three major components of CUMULUS’ NASH brand to its lineup effective MONDAY, APRIL 13th with the debut of “AMERICA’s MORNING SHOW WITH BLAIR GARNER,” the overnight show “KICKIN’ IT WITH KIX” and the KIX BROOKS-hosted “AMERICAN COUNTRY COUNTDOWN” on weekends.
The programming additions result from a partnership between JVC and CUMULUS, as CUMULUS EVP/Content & Programming JOHN DICKEY explained: “We are excited to partner with JVC to help JOHN and his team build a great brand serving the Country audience in ORLANDO. Together, we will deliver the very best Country programming to ORLANDO’s passionate Country fans.”
Added JVC Pres./CEO JON CARACCIOLO, “This is going to be CENTRAL FLORIDA’s direct connection to NASHVILLE and the only station that will give listeners complete access to the artists that are making Country history.”
GARNER and his crew replace BUBBA THE LOVE SPONGE, whose syndicated morning show was discontinued last MONTH (NET NEWS 3/19); WOTW flipped to Country shortly after JVC completed its purchase of the property in DECEMBER (NET NEWS 12/15).
