Congress To Announce Music Licensing Reform Monday

The HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES is ready to announce the "Fair Play Fair Pay Act Of 2015," its landmark, bipartisan, "pro-artist" music licensing reform legislation, designed specifically at online radio.
The bill is being introduced by Reps. JERROLD NADLER (D-NY), MARSHA BLACKBURN (R-TN), JOHN CONYERS JR. (D-MI) and TED DEUTCH (D-FL).
NADLER, BLACKBURN and CONYERS JR. will be on hand with members of the music community and artists, including MUSICFIRST COALITION and partner organizations to introduce the legislation.
The kickoff event is taking place at SAG-AFTRA headquarters in NEW YORK CITY at 1900 BROADWAY (between 63rd and 64th Streets) on MONDAY, APRIL 13th, at 11a (ET).
