Ken Merson Joins WLIF/Baltimore For Weekends/Swing

After a five-year weekend/fill-in run at CBS Hot AC WIAD (94-7 FRESH-FM)/WASHINGTON, veteran air talent KEN MERSON segues to CBS AC WLIF (TODAY’s 101.9)BALTIMORE for similar duties, effective immediately.
MERSON commented, “I spent 35 years entertaining and informing BALTIMORE radio audiences at WCBM, B104, WWMX, WQSR and WLIF, and I’m sincerely excited about reconnecting with them. Many thanks to CBS RADIO BALTIMORE VP/Programming DAVE LABROZZI, WLIF PD GREG CARPENTER and CBS RADIO BALTIMORE Market Manager BOB PHILIPS for the opportunity to return home to BALTIMORE radio after an eight-year absence. And special thanks also go out to original 94-7 FRESH-FM PD GREG DUNKIN for bringing me onboard, current CBS RADIO DC OM and 94-7 FRESH-FM/WPGC PD STEVE DAVIS for keeping me moving forward and to CBS DC Market Manager STEVE SWENSON for his leadership. MERSON, who also voice-tracked and programmed music for ENTERCOM stations in MEMPHIS and MADISON, and was a nighttime personality on SIRIUSXM’s “50s ON 5” channel, will continue his role as Music Brand Manager for BILL PASHA's MULTIBRAND MEDIA INTERNATIONAL.
