JACOBS MEDIA's TECHSURVEY11 -- which will have its debut at the upcoming WORLDWIDE RADIO SUMMIT 2015 at noon on THURSDAY, APRIL 23rd – consists of more than 41,000 respondents representing well more than 200 radio stations across NORTH AMERICA.
The surveys were completed in JANUARY through early FEBRUARY. THE JACOBS MEDIA team – with partners NUVOODOO – has been busily compiling the data and searching for new insights.
Here's a sneak peak at one of the key data points from the study:
JACOBS MEDIA President FRED JACOBS, who will present TECHSURVEY11 at WWRS 2015, commented, "It seems like every article you read about Millennials contains an expert explaning how they're not 'into' car ownership. But TS11 strongly indicates that's not the case."
"Overall, nearly nine in ten respondents believe that owning (buying or leasing) a car is of importance (88%). In fact, nearly seven in ten strongly agree that car ownership is a big deal.
"When we break it down by various demographic groups, we see there’s very little variance by gender or generations. Milllennials are in-sync with their more mature counterparts."
JACOBS concluded, "There is a great deal of data about radio and the "connected car"” in in TECHSURVEY11, and we look forward to presenting the top-line findings at the WORLDWIDE RADIO SUMMIT 2015 in HOLLYWOOD APRIL 22, 23, 24, with the TECHSURVEY11 reveal on APRIL 23rd at noon. Hope to see you there."
