Lucian Grainge To Return Technology Innovators Forum In L.A. With Co-Hosts Peter Chernin, Ari Emanuel

UMG Chairman/CEO LUCIAN GRAINGE and LORD MARLAND, along with U.K. TRADE & INVESTMENT, UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP, FOUNDERS FORUM, BBC WORLDWIDE and BBC, will bring the TECHNOLOGY INNOVATORS FORUM (TIF-IN) back to LOS ANGELES on APRIL 28th-29th at several locations.
Attendees will include some of the most prominent leaders in HOLLYWOOD and promising start-ups from the U.S. and U.K. The two-day forum, designed to help promote trade with the U.K.’s most innovative technology and media companies, will host panels and sessions at QUIXOTE STUDIOS in WEST HOLLYWOOD. The event’s co-hosts are THE CHERNIN GROUP Chairman/CEO PETER CHERNIN, a producer of movies and television series, and an investor in prominent technology companies; WILLIAM MORRIS ENDEAVOR ENTERTAINMENT Co-CEO ARI EMANUAL, and VESSEL Co-Founder and CEO JASON KILAR, head of the premium video service.
The conference plans to explore how music, television, film, live events and innovative services are influencing, as well as being influenced by, new digital platforms that give consumers more control over their entertainment. In addition to the event’s hosts, industry leaders from the music, film, television, digital and video games industries will be in attendance. More than 30 innovative companies, including a selection of U.K. creative-technology high-growth businesses, will present to the conference’s influential audience. The companies range from innovative start-ups looking for funding, to established businesses looking to secure overseas contracts and establish relationships and distribution agreements with global industry players.
TIF-IN’s inaugural conference took place in 2013 in LOS ANGELES. Since then, forums have been held in LONDON and QINGDAO, CHINA. Together, the three TIF-IN forums have drawn 700 attendees, featured 80 innovative companies and resulted in $200 million in deals.
