Little Big Town Sets Sales Mark With 'Girl Crush'

Congratulations to CAPITOL NASHVILLE’s LITTLE BIG TOWN for notching the largest one-week sales figure of a Country track so far in 2015, moving 97,456 in digital sales of “Girl Crush” last WEEK (week ending 4/19), according to SOUNDSCAN figures.
Sales of the ACM Group of the Year winner’s latest single improved 126% from the previous week, while vaulting from a #29 to the #7 rank, besting the likes of NICK JONAS, ED SHEERAN and JASON DERULO.
Also of note, the Release-to-Date sales total for “Girl Crush” is up to 521,911 – 97,456 of which came last week. According to CAPITOL NASHVILLE VP/Promotion SHANE ALLEN, the single sold 30,000 copies on SUNDAY night (4/19), which corresponds with LBT’s live performance of “Girl Crush” on SUNDAY’s nationally televised “50th ANNUAL ACM AWARDS.” Additionally, the performance was the evening’s most SHAZAMED of the entire ACM broadcast.
