HGH INVESTMENTS CORP. has agreed to a Consent Decree with the FCC and will pay a "voluntary contribution" of $2,000 for public file violations at Urban WHGH-A/THOMASVILLE, GA. WHGH lost its license for failure to renew in 2012 but was reinstated via a waiver; the Consent Decree includes a license renewal.
The Commission also announced procedures for the previously announced FM Auction 98, scheduled for JULY 23rd, offering 113 new allotments and 18 leftover construction permits from defaults or unsold allotments in previous auctions. The list of available permits remains the same as previously disclosed (NET NEWS 3/16). A freeze on FM minor change applications is in effect for the allotments in the auction and any applications that would affect them.
