Grace Under Pressure From (L-R) RCA's Lori Giamela, Wendy Goodman, All Access' Ed Brown, RCA's Danny Cooper
Last night (4/21) the HOTEL CAFE in HOLLYWOOD hosted the L.A. premiere of RCA performer GRACE. The 18-year old singer-songwriter hails from AUSTRALIA (her brother, CONRAD, is also a performer -- currently the featured vocalist on the KYGO single "Firestone").
She began writing songs at the age of 12 and also attended U.K.'s famed BRIT SCHOOL, whose alumni includes AMY WINEHOUSE, ADELE, LEONA LEWIS and JESSIE J.
Backed by a strong group of musicians, GRACE performed material from her upcoming album and even delighted the crowd with wonderful covers of the LUTHER VANDROSS classic "Never Too Much" and WINEHOUSE's hit with MARK RONSON, "Valerie." The set concluded with her current release, "You Don't Own Me," itself a cover of the 1964 single from the late LESLEY GORE, which features a guest appearance from labelmate G-EAZY, who joined her on stage for the performance.
Thank you to our friends at RCA -- DANNY COOPER, WENDY GOODMAN, LORI GIAMELA, KEITH NAFTALY, MIKA EL-BAZ, KATIE WELLE, BRAD DAVIDSON and JULIA BETLEY -- for a great night of entertainment from this talented newcomer.
