U2, Chegg And The One Partner On Social Media Contest

Beginning today, any college student can enter to win two floor tickets to see U2 as part of the band’s iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE TOUR 2015. Every one of the band’s 28 U.S. tour dates this summer in SAN JOSE, PHOENIX, L.A., DENVER, CHICAGO, BOSTON and NEW YORK will host 10 winners and their guests.
“As U2 kicks off their 2015 tour next month, they are looking forward to working with CHEGG, allowing them to engage with their fans new and old at colleges across the country,” said U2 manager GUY OSEARY. “CHEGG’s enormous reach to college students gives U2 the opportunity to go back to their roots and have some fun with fans.”
ONE, an advocacy organization co-founded by BONO in 2004 to help end extreme poverty, is also partnering with CHEGG to bring this U2 concert experience to students. The collaboration with CHEGG represents ONE’s initiative to engage and mobilize the next generation in the ongoing effort to end extreme poverty.
“If we want effective change, we need to engage young adults in policy and advocacy,” said ONE Chief Marketing Officer ROXANNE PHILSON. “They are the future, and they're our future leaders. Working with CHEGG and their powerful reach into students and young adults helps us catalyze change and build community around the fight to end extreme poverty. With this concert, we’re able to create a fun experience while also building new ties with this important group of people.”
Students 18 and older attending college can enter for their chance to win by simply visiting music.chegg.com/U2, logging in via FACEBOOK, and entering. Students can enter once daily and can also enter once a day for an extra chance to win by Tweeting about the contest with the hashtag #U2ieTOUR. The winning students will be selected at random following the close of the contest, and the winner’s guest must also be a registered college student. Entries are open today through MAY 15th,at 11:59p (PST).
