Primary Wave Signs The Scorpions For U.S. Marketing

THE SCORPIONS have signed with PRIMARY WAVE ENTERTAINMENT, who will be the multi-Platinum rock band’s exclusive marketing agency focusing on the band's upcoming new album and tour, as well as building their online presence and brand alliances.
THE SCORPIONS will release "Return To Forever,” their 18th studio album, in NORTH AMERICA later this year, which will celebrate the band’s 50th stage anniversary. The legendary GERMAN rockers hit the road MAY 1st for a worldwide tour, which kicked off in ZHENJIAN, CHINA, with planned stops in PARIS, BERLIN, ROME, ZURICH, LOS ANGELES, TORONTO and BROOKLYN, among many more. THE SCORPIONS will also be the subjects of a new documentary, "Forever And A Day,” which was shot by filmmaker KATJA VON GARNIER, who accompanied the band on its "Final Sting” tour.
THE SCORPIONS will have access to PRIMARY WAVE’s in-house resources, including their digital marketing, brand, sync/publishing, film/TV production and development partners, to capitalize on the band’s brand extension and reach into younger generations through social media and various marketing efforts. THE SCORPIONS join a PRIMARY WAVE roster that now includes DEF LEPPARD, MELISSA ETHERIDGE, CEELO GREEN, HALL & OATES, JANE LYNCH, KLIPSCH AUDIO, ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME, THE GO-GO'S, CYPRESS HILL, NATALIE IMBRUGLIA and VOX, among others.
