WARNER MUSIC NASHVILLE (WMN) artist SHERYL CROW is slated to perform a special acoustic concert to benefit VAN ANDEL INSTITUTE, a biomedical research facility dedicated to determining the origins of cancer and Parkinson's disease and translating those finding into effective therapies. "In 2013, more than 36,000 TENNESSEEANS were diagnosed with cancer -- and more than 1.6 million AMERICANS got the same terrible news," said CROW. "As a country, we need to do more to stop cancer. I visited VAN ANDEL INSTITUTE last SUMMER and was impressed by what I saw; the INSTITUTE understands there is no time to waste."
"HOPE & DENIM, AN EVENING WITH SHERYL CROW" will take place THURSDAY, MAY 28th at MARATHON MUSIC WORKS in NASHVILLE beginning at 6:15p (CT). "AMERICA'S MORNING SHOW" host BLAIR GARNER will serve as emcee, and a 5:30p (CT) VIP reception will precede the concert. For ticketing or additional information, visit www.VAI.org.
