NORTHERN CALIFORNIA PUBLIC BROADCASTING, owner of News-Talk KQED-F and PBS affiliate KQED-TV/SAN FRANCISCO, has upped Exec. Dir./Marketing and Communications DELINDA MROWKA to VP/Corporate Sponsorship, effective JUNE 1st. MROWKA, who joined KQED in 2013 after stints at the CORPORATION FOR PUBLIC BROADCASTING, WETA-TV/WASHINGTON, and OLIVER PRODUCTIONS, will report to COO KEVIN MARTIN.
"DELINDA's experience as a marketer and seasoned public media executive makes her perfect for the role," said MARTIN. "Corporate sponsorships are KQED's second-highest source of revenue after individual donations, so DELINDA's ability to creatively help underwriters connect with KQED's brand across conventional and digital platforms will contribute greatly to the expansion of our mission-driven programming."
"With strong revenue growth for the past several years and new opportunities related to KQED's expanded video and audio offerings, I'm thrilled to be taking leadership of corporate support at such an exciting time," said MROWKA. "I'm looking forward to reimagining underwriting, experimenting and finding innovative new ways to help sponsors achieve their objectives."
