Also, The FCC has also made selections in seven groups of mutually exclusive applications for new noncommercial FM stations from the FEBRUARY 2010 filing window after addressing challenges to the results of its point allocation system. New permits have been awarded to WESTERN CAROLINA UNIVERSITY at DILLSBORO, NC after taking away three points initially awarded to CANARY COALITION, INC. for being an established local applicant; CITRUS COUNTY ASSOCIATION FOR RETARDED CITIZENS, INC. at OTTER CREEK, FL after five points were taken away from FLORIDA COMMUNITY RADIO for filing its documentation after the deadline; and HETERODYNE BROADCASTING COMPANY at PINCKNEYVILLE, IL, once points awarded PINCKNEYVILLE COMMUNITY RADIO as a local applicant were revoked; GALLATIN VALLEY COMMUNITY RADIO at BOZEMAN, MT, after two points initially awarded to MOUNT ELLIS ACADEMY for diversity were taken away because of insufficient safeguards of maintenance of board diversity.
Also, a four-way time-sharing grant was turned into a three-way time-sharing arrangement after points were taken away from DALLAS SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH, leaving CALVARY CHAPEL OF MCMINNVILLE, INC., MANO A MANO FAMILY CENTER, AND CAPITAL COMMUNITY TELEVISION, INC. with a new FM at DALLAS, OR; FLORIDA COMMUNITY RADIO, INC. was declared the sole winner of a new FM at HORSESHOE BEACH, FL after a tie-breaker with HELP SAVE THE APALACHICOLA RIVER GROUP, INC. was revised once HELP was granted another FM and thus no longer eligible to win the first tie-breaker; and MODESTO PEACE/LIFE CENTER and CALVARY CHAPEL OF TURLOCK, INC. were granted a time-share in WESTLEY, CA over SACRED HEART ROMAN CATHOLIC PARISH, which was knocked out for failing to meet the Reservation Standard (as did both of the competitors, but they were reinstated upon appeal).
And STOP ABORTION.ORG, INC. has been granted a low power FM construction permit at TUCSON, AZ.
