WBZO (B103)/Long Island Re-Brands As '103.1 Max FM'

CONNOISSEUR MEDIA Classic Hits WBZO (B103)/LONG ISLAND, NY has rebranded the station as "THE NEW 103.1 MAX FM, CLASSIC HITS OF THE '70s, '80s AND MORE." The station launched with an expanded playlist, expanded signal, and a new personality lineup.
With CONNOISSEUR MEDIA's recent acquisition of Classic Rock WDRC (102.9 THE WHALE)/HARTFORD,CT; THE NEW 103.1 MAX FM has bumped their signal into a greatly expanded coverage area, including LONG ISLAND's NORTH SHORE.
In addition, THE NEW 103.1 MAX FM also announces the return of JIM DOUGLAS to the LONG ISLAND air waves for mornings. He is joined by co-host KELLY DYSON who has been holding down mornings for the past several weeks. PD PATRICK SHEA will handle middays and RALPH TORTORA can be heard in afternoons.
Some of the artists that can be heard on THE NEW 103.1 MAX FM include THE BEATLES, BILLY JOEL, BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, FLEETWOOD MAC, JOURNEY, QUEEN, THE EAGLES, THE ROLLING STONES, U2, BOSTON, STEVE MILLER BAND, AEROSMITH, LED ZEPPELIN, THE POLICE, and more.
