Eric Nuzum To Exit NPR, Join Audible

NPR VP/Programming ERIC NUZUM is leaving the network to join AMAZON audiobook subsidiary AUDIBLE as SVP/Original Content, reports CURRENT.ORG. NUZUM will leave NPR on JUNE 10th; ANYA GRUNDMANN will serve as Interim VP/Programming and will continue to oversee NPR MUSIC.
NUZUM joined NPR in 2004 after serving as PD at KENT STATE UNIVERSITY noncommercial WKSU/KENT, OH. At NPR, he oversaw acquired programming and "WAIT WAIT ... DON'T TELL ME," and oversaw the creation of new shows, including "ASK ME ANOTHER" and "TED RADIO HOUR," as well as managing the network's SIRIUSXM channel and Worldwide Service.
