And having been denied in his 2014 appeal of the grant of an attempted but ultimately unconsummated sale of KFCD-A/FARMERVILLE, TX-DALLAS and KHSE-A/WYLIE, TX-DALLAS by BERNARD DALLAS LLC to PRINCIPLE BROADCASTING NETWORK, DAVE SCHUM is back with a challenge to KFCD's proposed sale to MARK JORGENSON's ACM DALLAS V LLC. SCHUM, whose challenge to the PRINCIPLE sale drew FCC admonishment for being "frivolous," was a partner in THE WATCH LTD., which owned the stations before defaulting on loans held by BERNARD parent D.B. ZWIRN LTD.'s D.B. ZWIRN SPECIAL OPPORTUNITIES FUND, L.P.; he alleged that ZWIRN fraudulently acquired the stations through a "loan-to-own scheme" and added a request for a hearing to "discern the undisclosed ownership including convicted felon and sex offender JEFFREY EPSTEIN and the foreign funding of BERNARD onshore from CAYMAN ISLAND companies and hedge fund." The SCHUM challenge includes several allegations involving investments by EPSTEIN, whose exploits involving celebrities and politicians with underaged partners on his private CARIBBEAN island have been recent tabloid fodder, in ZWIRN.
