'American Idol' Winner Nick Fradiani To Perform National Anthem On PBS' Memorial Day Concert Sunday

AMERICAN IDOL XIV winner NICK FRADIANI will perform the NATIONAL ANTHEM on the 26th annual broadcast of PBS' NATIONAL MEMORIAL DAY CONCERT airing live from the WEST LAWN of the U.S. CAPITOL on SUNDAY, MAY 24th from 8-9:30p (ET).
The program honors the service and sacrifice of "all our men and women in uniform, their families at home and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country."
"I feel honored to be able to sing at the U.S. CAPITOL on the eve of MEMORIAL DAY," said FRADIANI. "It's an incredible opportunity to pay my deepest respects to our soldiers and military families for their service and sacrifice."
The multi-award-winning program will be co-hosted for the 10th year by TONY AWARD winner JOE MANTEGNA and EMMY winner GARY SINISE, who have dedicated themselves to veterans' causes and supporting our troops in active service.
In addition to FRADIANI, guests include GENERAL COLIN L. POWELL, GLORIA ESTEFAN, LAURENCE FISHBURNE; ESAI MORALES, THE VOICE season five winner TESSANNE CHIN, classical crossover star KATHERINE JENKINS and world-renowned tenor RUSSELL WATSON in performance with the NATIONAL SYMPOHNY ORCHESTRA under the direction of conductor JACK EVERLY.
