Butler University, Learfield Sports Ink Multiyear Multimedia Rights Deal

BUTLER UNIVERSITY sports multimedia rights will be held by LEARFIELD SPORTS' BUTLER SPORTS PROPERTIES under a new multi-year deal that starts in the 2015-16 season and extends through the 2024-25 collegiate athletic season. The deal includes radio and TV game coverage, signage, corporate sponsorships, digital rights, and event marketing. WILLIS CHEANEY will serve as GM of BUTLER SPORTS PROPERTIES, moving over from LEARFIELD's INDIANA UNIVERSITY SPORTS PROPERTIES; BUTLER has existing relationships with LEARFIELD subsidiaries LEARFIELD LICENSING PARTNERS and ANC.
BUTLER Vice President/Director of Athletics BARRY COLLIER said, “We are excited to be partnering with LEARFIELD, a national leader in collegiate sports and multimedia rights management.
