Doug Franklin To Retire As Cox Enterprises EVP/CFO, Dallas Clement To Succeed Him

COX MEDIA GROUP parent COX ENTERPRISES EVP/CFO DOUG FRANKLIN is retiring as of AUGUST 1st, and the company is promoting COX AUTOMOTIVE EVP/CFO DALLAS CLEMENT to EVP/CFO of the parent company to succeed him, effective JULY 1st. FRANKLIN has been with COX for 38 years, mostly in the newspaper division before becoming EVP of COX MEDIA GROUP in 2009; he became President of CMG in 2011 and EVP/CFO of COX ENTERPRISES in 2013.
CLEMENT, who has been with COX for 25 years, 20 at cable division COX COMMUNICATIONS and most recently with AUTO TRADER GROUP/COX AUTOMOTIVE, will report to COX ENTERPRISES Pres./CEO JOHN DYER.
"DOUG's career at COX is nothing short of remarkable and is an inspiring story of commitment, perseverance and dedication," said DYER. "I am truly grateful to DOUG for his nearly four decades of service to COX and wish him all the best in his retirement."
