Songwriting powerhouses RHETT AKINS, BEN HAYSLIP and DALLAS DAVIDSON -- known collectively as the PEACH PICKERS -- hosted the second annual "JAMESON IRISH WHISKEY PRESENTS GEORGIA ON MY MIND" event TUESDAY, MAY 12th at the RYMAN AUDITORIUM in NASHVILLE (NET NEWS 5/1). With the help of their famous friends, including LUKE BRYAN, TYLER FARR, COLE SWINDELL, RANDY HOUSER, LEE BRICE, THOMAS RHETT, CRAIG CAMPBELL, and others, the event raised over $100,000 to benefit THE GEORGIA MUSIC FOUNDATION.
A highlight of the evening was a performance by students of THE JAMES BROWN ACADEMY OF MUSIK PUPILS (J.A.M.P.). Following the J.A.M.P. set, GEORGIA MUSIC FOUNDATION board members DINAH GRETSCH and KARLA REDDING-ANDREWS presented the FLAMEKEEPER AWARD to J.A.M.P. founder DEANA BROWN-THOMAS and J.A.M.P. musical director KEITH JENKINS.
