RADIO DISNEY GROUP, LLC is selling WRDZ-F/PLAINFIELD, IN-INDIANAPOLIS to iHEARTMEDIA's CAPSTAR TX LLC and KWDZ-A/SALT LAKE CITY to iHEARTMEDIA's CITICASTERS LICENSES for $1.95 million plus an LMA for WRDZ.
In other filings with the FCC, CHURCH PLANTERS OF AMERICA is selling silent noncommercial KSRP/DODGE CITY, KS to BIBLE BAPTIST CHURCH OF DODGE CITY, INC. for $25,000.
VIC MICHAEL's CEDAR COVE BROADCASTING, INC. is swapping noncommercial Spanish Religion KRKY-F (RADIO NUEVA VIDA)/FORT COLLINS, CO and the cancellation of a promissory note for $100,000 held by MICHAEL's MOUNTAIN COMMUNITY TRANSLATORS to PUBLIC BROADCASTING OF COLORADO, INC. (COLORADO PUBLIC RADIO) for noncommercial Triple A KVOQ-A (OPEN AIR)/DENVER.
TOM F. HUTH is selling Spanish Religion KOBO-A/YUBA CITY, CA to PUNJABI AMERICAN MEDIA, LLC for $390,000 plus a time brokerage agreement before closing.
COMMUNITY BROADCASTING, INC. is selling W234CC/SHERMAN, IL to LONG NINE, INC. for $37,000. The station will rebroadcast WMAY-A/SPRINGFIELD, IL.
MICHAEL H. MCDOUGALD has closed on the sale of W262CD/ROME, GA to ANVERSE, INC. for $75,000. The licensee also filed to move the station to CARTERSVILLE, GA and specify Adult Standards WBHF-A/CARTERSVILLE, GA as the primary station.
WESTERN INSPIRATIONAL BROADCASTERS, INC. has closed on the sale of K255CE/ELKO, NV to HOLIDAY BROADCASTING OF ELKO for $12,300.
And SCREEN DOOR BROADCASTING, LLC has closed on the sale of the construction permit for KIHG/SAVANNA, OK to OKLAHOMA CATHOLIC BROADCASTING, INC. for the seller's costs for the permit.
The Commission also approved the move of iHEARTMEDIA's W244CS/HUDSON, WI to CALHOUN BEACH, MN and onto the IDS CENTER in downtown MINNEAPOLIS, giving iHEART four translators atop the skyscraper, according to NORTHPINE.COM. W244CS is presently retransmitting 80s KQQL-HD3/MINNEAPOLIS from a tower in WEST ST. PAUL; iHEARTMEDIA bought the facility from UNITED BROADCASTING SYSTEM, LLC for $300,000 late in 2014.
And the FCC has also fined BROOKS BROACASTING CORP. $2,500 under a consent decree resolving an allegation of inadequate service hours at KPSO-F/FALFURRIAS, TX. The station indicated on its license renewal application that it had operated the station for fewer than its prescribed hours, signing off at 7p (CT) MONDAY through SATURDAY from JANUARY 16, 2009 through DECEMBER 14, 2012 without notifying the Commission.
