SIRIUSXM RADIO has dropped its trademark infringement lawsuit against telemarketers NATIONAL SALES PARTNERS, LLC and Principals CAMIELLE DAKCLOWZ and MIKE JESS.
The suit, which alleged that the defendants used a toll free phone number similar to SIRIUSXM's number and represented to callers that they were SIRIUSXM but then tried to sell the callers coupons, WALMART gift cards, or ADT security services to get customers' credit card and personal information in a "misdial trap," was originally filed against "John Does 1-10" in U.S. Federal Court for the Southern District of NEW YORK on FEBRUARY 13th, and amended on MARCH 11th to add the names of the company and DACKCLOWZ (a/k/a CAMILLE DAKDOUK) and JESS. SIRIUSXM filed a Notice of Dismissal with Prejudice on JUNE 12th with no terms of settlement disclosed.
