GEORGIA PUBLIC BROADCASTING has named PAT ST. CLAIRE to Assistant News Director as well as reporter. ST. CLAIRE, who has been serving as Capitol Reporter for GPB Television's "LAWMAKERS," is a former News Manager and anchor at CNNRADIO.
“PAT spent several months with GPB this year reporting on the General Assembly during ‘LAWMAKERS,’” said GPB News Director ERIC BURNS. “It’s clear that she shares our commitment to highlighting the stories of GEORGIA through in-depth reporting and storytelling that helps answer questions and find solutions to issues.”
“It is a thrill to join the GPB news team,” said ST. CLAIRE. “I'm very excited to roll up my sleeves and get busy as this next chapter of my career begins. During my time as the capitol reporter for GPB's ‘LAWMAKERS’ program, I was fortunate to get to know many of the extraordinary men and women who work hard every day to make GPB news programming a necessity for people all across the state. I'm honored to be a member of such a distinguished team and look forward to all the great reporting to come.”
