June 24, 2015 at 11:32 AM (PT)
TOWNSQUARE MEDIA AC WFPG (LITE ROCK 96.9)/ATLANTIC CITY's "The Lite Rock Morning Show with EDDIE DAVIS" has been holding a competition for a new safety message for the ATLANTIC CITY BOARDWALK TRAMS, and tomorrow morning, JUNE 25th, the grand prize- winning message will be revealed live on the Boardwalk.
After objections from the WILDWOOD tram company for using their safety message, “Watch the tram car, please,” the new ATLANTIC CITY TRAM SERVE asked DAVIS to help them find a unique and different message of their own. The TRAM SERVICE is offering a $1000 cash prize to the person who creates their new message.
The radio host has been asking his listeners to submit their most creative phrase on the radio station website, literock969.com.
Some of the more original submissions for the contest include NEW JERSEY Governor CHRIS CHRISTIE saying, “Here comes the tram … move it, idiot” and “Tootie tootie, move your bootie."
The winning safety message will be revealed at 8:15a (ET), tomorrow, JUNE 25th during a live broadcast of the Lite Rock Morning Show on the ATLANTIC CITY BOARDWALK at DENNIS COURTYARD, in front of HARRY'S OYSTER BAR at BALLY'S CASINO, 1901 BOARDWALK, at MICHIGAN AVENUE.
Plans are to introduce the winner of the safety alert message contest and award the winner with the $1000 prize that day during the "Lite Rock Morning Show with EDDIE DAVIS."
