THE LUTHER VANDROSS ESTATE has partnered with HIDDEN BEACH EXPERIENCES and renowned bassist MARCUS MILLER for "The Power Of Love Experience -- A Tribute To The Life Of LUTHER VANDROSS," a 15-city U.S. tour marking the 10-year anniversary of the vocalist's death.

VANDROSS sold more than 40 million albums worldwide, released 12 consecutive Platinum/double-Platinum albums, won eight GRAMMYS, with 31 nominations.

"The Power Of Love Experience" will be a semi-biographical story in song, featuring a who’s who of musical talent led by MILLER, VANDROSS’ longtime musical director, co-songwriter and co-producer.

Plans for "The Power Of Love Experience" include a mobile museum highlighting VANDROSS’ memorabilia and archival images and footage.  In association with the estate, HIDDEN BEACVH will create THE VANDROSS AWARD for vocal excellence, to be given to established as well as up-and-coming performing artists who exemplifying its namesake's commitment to excellence, vocal performance and showmanship.

HIDDEN BEACH EXPERIENCES CEO STEVE McKIEEVER said the event is the first of many housed under the company’s new division, “GUARDIANS OF SOUL,” whose mission is to preserve and celebrate the legacies of R&B, soul and jazz icons.

“With current news headlines reminding us that our nation still has deep wounds in need of healing, we cannot think of a more appropriate time to celebrate the power of love -- analogous with the life and legacy of LUTHER VANDROSS,” said McKEEVER. “LUTHER’s music and messages of love touched people around the globe. We are humbled and honored that the LUTHER VANDROSS ESTATE has entrusted us to create such an event.”

MILLER, the world-renowned bassist and UNESCO Artist for Peace, has performed with hundreds of artists.  However, he said his experience working with VANDROSS, over the years, remains one of his most memorable.

"I am blessed to have worked with many truly gifted artists but my time with LUTHER was perhaps my most fulfilling professionally and personally,” said the two-time GRAMMY recipient.  “When I co-wrote and produced "Power Of Love/Love Power" with him, neither of us knew the impact it would have nor that it would earn us both GRAMMY AWARDS. But LUTHERr's power and musical prowess couldn't be denied. I am truly honored to partner with HIDDEN BEACH and the ESTATE to celebrate my friend's musical legacy through 'The Power Of Love Experience.'"  

The first endeavor, produced by HIDDEN BEACH's newly launched GUARDIANS OF SOUL division in conjunction with THE ESTATE and MILLER was the coordination of activities surrounding VANDROSS’ posthumous star on the HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME in 2014.
