The GRAND OLE OPRY and BELCOURT THEATRE are both celebrating their 90th anniversaries, so the NASHVILLE treasures are partnering to deliver a series at the BELCOURT featuring a collection of films that feature NASHVILLE locations, music legends, and in many cases its most famous show. The BELCOURT’s stage served as the OPRY’s first home outside of the WSM STUDIOS; the show was housed there from 1934 to 1936.
Beginning SATURDAY, JULY 11th, the BELCOURT will host a free outdoor screening of "Coal Miner's Daughter" in its parking lot at dusk. The series will then move to MONDAY evenings with "MUSIC CITY MONDAYS" taking place from JULY 13th through AUGUST 17th. A full schedule of films to be screened can be found by clicking here.
