FCC FM Auction 98: 88 Applications Qualified

The FCC has updated the status of 112 short-form applications filed in FM Auction 98, scheduled for JULY 23rd.

Eighty-eight applications were considered qualified to bid, representing one additional application accepted along with the 87 previously considered complete.  23 incomplete applications and one rejected application have fallen by the wayside for the auction.

Among major radio operators still in the running are ALPHA MEDIA (which had an incomplete application in the earlier round), CONNOISSEUR MEDIA, EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION, and ENTERCOM.
