July 9, 2015 at 1:57 PM (PT)
VALORY MUSIC CO. artist JUSTIN MOORE will take a break from BRAD PAISLEY's "CRUSHIN' IT WORLD TOUR" and lace up his cleats to represent Country music as a participant in the 2015 MLB ALL-STAR LEGENDS & CELEBRITY SOFTBALL GAME on SUNDAY, JULY 12th. The event will take place at the GREAT AMERICAN BALL PARK in CINCINNATI, OH and is slated to be televised by ESPN immediately following the GILETTE HOME RUN DERBY on MONDAY, JULY 13th.
"I'm stoked to break out the spikes again," said MOORE. "Baseball is my favorite sport, and one I've played my whole life. I may be a little rusty, but it's just like riding a bike. Should be fun to get back on the diamond with all the other folks playing." Other celebrities taking part include SNOOP DOGG, JORDIN SPARKS, JOSH HUTCHERSON, ANTHONY ANDERSON, NICK LACHEY, MACKLEMORE, fellow Country artist COLE SWINDELL, and others. Between innings, MOORE will capture one-on-one interviews with many of the participants as co-host of a special edition of CMT-TV's "Hot 20 Countdown" premiering SATURDAY, JULY 18th at 8a (CT).
