NPR's Matt Martinez Joins KPLU/Tacoma-Seattle As Director Of Content

NPR Senior Producer MATT MARTINEZ is joining PACIFIC LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY Jazz-News-Talk KPLU/TACOMA-SEATTLE and its JAZZ24 service as Director of Content, effective AUGUST 3rd.
GM JOEY COHN said, “MATT's experience creating exceptional and unique programming, and his respected leadership skills will bring great value to us moving forward.”
MARTINEZ, who joined NPR in 2012 and produced shows like "ALL THINGS CONSIDERED" and worked on the launch of podcast "INVISIBILIA," among other projects, said, “The future of public radio rests with member stations, and I hope I can do my part at KPLU/JAZZ24 to make sure the station and the public radio system stay strong today, tomorrow and many years ahead, KPLU and JAZ24 have big ambitions in the years ahead, and I’m excited that I’ll be here to help make those a reality.”
