ENTERCOM COMMUNICATIONS has reached a settlement with the U.S, Department of Justice to get its acquisition of LINCOLN FINANCIAL MEDIA cleared and will swap AC KOSI, Country KYGO-F, Sports KKFN (104.3 THE FAN), and Sports KEPN-A (1600 THE ZONE)/DENVER to BONNEVILLE INTERNATIONAL for Classic Rock KSWD-F (100.3 THE SOUND)/LOS ANGELES plus $5 million in additional consideration.
With the deal, ENTERCOM has also named former RADIO ONE Regional VP DOUG ABERNETHY as VP/GM of the newly-acquired former LFM cluster in MIAMI, replacing MAUREEN LESOURD; former ESPN Sports WMVP-A (ESPN 1000)/CHICAGO DOS MIKE FOWLER as VP/GM of ENTERCOM ATLANTA; CBS RADIO SAN DIEGO SVP/Market Manager BOB BOLINGER as VP/GM of ENTERCOM SAN DIEGO; and former LFM SAN DIEGO Dir. of Sales BOB BURTON as VP/GM of ENTERCOM LOS ANGELES. In addition, ENTERCOM DENVER VP/GM AMY GRIESHEIMER will remain the head of the DENVER cluster.
