Meghan McCain Named New Host Of Premiere Networks' 'America Now'

PREMIERE NETWORKS has named best-selling author, columnist, and television news commentator MEGHAN MCCAIN as the new permanent host of “AMERICA NOW,” 6-9p (ET) weeknights, beginning MONDAY (7/20). MCCAIN, daughter of Sen. JOHN MCCAIN (R-AZ), had her own show “RAISING MCCAIN” on cable TV network PIVOT, where she also co-hosted “TAKEPART LIVE”; she has also served as a regular commentator on MSNBC and is known for being a moderate Republican with liberal positions on some social issues.
She replaces interim host “JOE PAGS” PAGLIARULO of iHEARTMEDIA News-Talk WOAI-A/SAN ANTONIO, who has been holding down the fort since ANDY DEAN’s departure last year.
