STEVE GOLDSTEIN's AMPLIFI MEDIA has released a new infographic showing the growth and power of podcasting.

The graphic, using information from EDISON RESEARCH and TRITON DIGITAL as well as from iTUNES and WIRED magazine, includes data on audience size (32 million Americans listening to podcasts in a week, 46 million within a month), downloads, use of smartphones, affluence of the listeners, and demographics (half of podcast consumers being 18-44).
