The GRAND OLE OPRY will host and honor 27 CONGRESSIONAL MEDAL OF HONOR recipients at the OPRY on FRIDAY, AUGUST 7th as part of a three-day event. "NASHVILLE SALUTES: A TRIBUTE TO OUR NATION'S GREATEST HEROES" and TENNESSEE's "Service & Sacrifice Week" coincide with the OPRY event, which will run from THURSDAY, AUGUST 6th through SATURDAY, AUGUST 8th.  OPRY members PAM TILLIS, MEL TILLIS, LARRY GATLIN & THE GATLIN BROTHERS, MARK WILLS, MICKEY GUYTON, and RAELYNN are all slated to perform during the evening's festivities.
