Hartford Yard Goats Ink 3-Year Deal With WPOP/Hartford

Minor league baseball's HARTFORD YARD GOATS, to be relocating from nearby NEW BRITAIN (where the club has been known as the ROCK CATS) in 2016, will continue to be heard on iHEARTMEDIA Sports WPOP-A (FOX SPORTS RADIO 1410)/HARTFORD for the next three seasons. At the same time, the team's release indicates that the station will be flipping to News-Talk as "NEWS TALK 1410AM." The deal includes promotional opportunities for the GOATS on iHEARTMEDIA's Classic Hits WHCN (THE RIVER 105.9), Country WWYZ (COUNTRY 92.5), Sports WUCS (ESPN RADIO 97.9), and Top 40 WKSS (KISS 95.7), and the cluster will receive signage at the new downtown DUNKIN' DONUTS PARK.
GOATS/ROCK CATS Director, Broadcasting & Media Relations JEFF DOOLEY will call the action for the team, the COLORADO ROCKIES' Double-A EASTERN LEAGUE affiliate. The GOATS have also signed THE HARTFORD insurance company as a founding sponsor.
