Spanish Broadcasting System Swaps FMs For TVs In Puerto Rico; Max Media Sells 4 In PA

SPANISH BROADCASTING SYSTEM's WZET LICENSING, INC. is swapping Spanish Top 40 WIOA (FRESH 99.9 FM)/SAN JUAN and its booster in CELBA, PR, Spanish Top 40 WIOC/PONCE, and Tropical WZET (ZETA 93)/HORMIGUEROS, PR plus $1.9 million to INTERNATIONAL BROADCASTING CORPORATION for MEGA TV affiliates WTCV-DT/SAN JUAN, WVEO-DT/AGUADILLA, PR, and WVOX-DT/PONCE, PR. The parties have been programming each other's stations since SEPTEMBER 2014 with an option to swap licenses.
In other filings with the FCC, B & G BROADCASTING, INC. is selling Hot AC WKLW-F (K-LITE 94.7)/PAINTSVILLE, KY to S.I.P. BROADCASTING COMPANY, INC. for $700,000.
DREWRY COMMUNICATIONS' MIDESSA BROADCASTING LIMITED PARTNERSHIP is transferring KTXC/LAMESA, TX to RAYCOM MEDIA, INC.'s KWES LICENSE SUBSIDIARY, LLC and KEYU-F/AMARILLO, TX to RAYCOM's KFDA/KEYU LICENSE SUBSIDIARY, LLC as part of RAYCOM's purchase of DREWRY's six TEXAS TV stations for $160 million. The deal also includes ABC affiliate KXXV-TV/WACO, TELEMUNDO affiliate KEYU-TV and CBS affiliate KFDA-TV/AMARILLO, ABC affiliate KSWO-TV/LAWTON-WICHITA FALLS, and NBC and CW affiliate KWES-TV/MIDLAND-ODESSA and its satellite KWAB-TV/BIG SPRING. RAYCOM is seeking a "failing station" waiver to retain KEYU-TV, and an arrangement by which HOAK MEDIA will sell KAUZ-TV/WICHITA FALLS to AMERICAN SPIRIT, LLC, with RAYCOM entering a Shared Services Agreement with KAUZ, ending an existing Joint Sales Agreement.
