NEWCAP RADIO VP Programming STEVE JONES announces two new hires, who will both report to him, including PAUL KAYE as National Director Of Talent Development and STEVE PARSONS as National Director Of Programming.

KAYE's appointment makes NEWCAP the first radio company in CANADA to create a position of this scope, reinforcing its commitment to talent discovery and development. KAYE will conduct regular monitors and coaching sessions with key on-air talent, coordinate group coaching seminars, develop company-wide strategies and best practices, and recruit future stars to the company. "PAUL has a tremendous history developing talent and is widely recognized in the industry as a leader in this area," commented JONES.

PARSONS will assist JONES with the development and implementation of strategy, station monitors, research, MUSICMASTER audits, promotions and marketing, and ratings analysis. STEVE will work in markets of all sizes, with a focus on rated markets.

"STEVE has a long resume of success in a variety of formats in many markets including WINNIPEG, VANCOUVER and TORONTO," added JONES.

PARSONS previously helped lead ASTRAL’s programming team in a similar role.
