Interactive Advertising Bureau Sets Podcast Upfront For September 10th

The INTERACTIVE ADVERTISING BUREAU (IAB) is holding its first “IAB Podcast Upfront Showcase” on SEPTEMBER 10th. The event at NEW YORK PUBLIC RADIO News-Talk WNYC-A-F and Classical WQXR/NEW YORK's JEROME L. GREENE PERFORMANCE SPACE at will showcase podcasts to advertising clients and media buyers.
Among the participating podcast entities are ADLARGE MEDIA, MIDROLL MEDIA, NPR, PANOPLY, PODTRAC, and WNYC.
“More and more advertisers are incorporating audio programming into their digital marketing strategies, given the growing popularity of podcasts and their highly-engaged audiences,” said IAB VP, Industry Initiatives CARL KALAPESI. “The individual and intimate listening experience enjoyed by podcast listeners provides a unique vehicle for brands to connect with consumers. IAB is excited to bring so many digital audio leaders together to discuss their upcoming programming and the wide array of advertising opportunities available through podcasts.”
