CHARLIE DANIELS held his "40TH ANNIVERSARY VOLUNTEER JAM" in NASHVILLE last NIGHT (8/12) at BRIDGESTONE ARENA (NET NEWS 12/19/2014) with a lineup of guests that included TRACE ADKINS, ALABAMA, MONTGOMERY GENTRY, THE OAK RIDGE BOYS, TRACY LAWRENCE, CRAIG MORGAN, TED NUGENT, TRAVIS TRITT, LEE GREENWOOD, and more. SIRIUSXM personality STORME WARREN and FOX NEWS' SEAN HANNITY served as event emcees for the evening, and surprise special guests took the stage throughout the night, as well, including appearances from BLACKBERRY SMOKE, LYNYRD SKYNYRD, and ERIC CHURCH. Profits from the night will be split between THE JOURNEY HOME PROJECT, a non-profit organization co-founded by DANIELS to assist Veterans of the U.S. ARMED FORCES, and THE PREDATORS FOUNDATION, an organization devoted to funneling the excitement of professional sports towards the needs of the greater NASHVILLE-area community.
The show that began at NASHVILLE's 2,000-seat WAR MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM has grown to become a premiere concert event, selling out the ARENA for last night's show, which lasted nearly five hours total. Backstage chatter between the artists, DANIELS, WARREN, and the media included plans to continue the event next year, moving the show to a SATURDAY night. Start planning now to attend next year, because CHARLIE DANIELS has a knack for assembling a fine group of talent in one room for his "VOLUNTEER JAM."
