WIRED magazine and NOKIA are launching a new podcast examining technology issues, #MAKETECHHUMAN, hosted by the NERDIST PODCAST's MATT MIRA. The new show, part of NOKIA and WIRED's #MAKETECHHUMAN year-long initiative, debuts with an episode on online shaming and cyberbullying, featuring a conversation with MONICA LEWINSKY, who has recently become active in the anti-bullying organization BYSTANDER REVOLUTION.
MIRA, a comedian who also co-hosts the "FRASIER"-themed "TALK SALAD AND SCRAMBLED EGGS" podcast and the "FEaB" podcast on KEVIN SMITH's SMODCAST network, said, "Our goal with this podcast is to host a series of conversations that will impact global discourse, human behavior, and even product development and policy-making."
NOKIA Chief Marketing Officer BARRY FRENCH said, "We wanted to dive deeper into the issues that people are talking about, the things they care about that truly will have an impact on our lives in the future. Through the podcast platform, we're able to broaden the access to even more global thought leaders and share those engaging and thoughtful conversations about the future of humanity and technology in a way we haven't before."
