Cox Media Group Ups Michelle Harper To VP/Sales

COX MEDIA GROUP has upped ABC affiliate WSOC-TV/CHARLOTTE GSM MICHELLE HARPER to VP/Sales for the corporation, effective SEPTEMBER 21st. She will work with all CMG newspaper, radio and TV brands to develop and execute strategic sales programs and training.
HARPER, who has also worked at ABC O&O WTVD-TV/DURHAM-RALEIGH, then-independent WJZY-TV/CHARLOTTE, SELTEL, ABC affiliate WXLV-TV-UPN affiliate WUPN-TV and WB affiliate WTWB-TV/GREENSBORO-WINSTON SALEM, and COX's independent WAXN-TV/CHARLOTTE, succeeds PAUL CURRAN, who was named VP/GM for ABC affiliate WFTV (TV)/ORLANDO. HARPER will oversee sales in television, radio, and digital for the company.
