DASH RADIO has announced the launch of 10 new stations, including PLAYBOY RADIO; K-Pop powerhouse YG ENTERTAINMENT; EDM label MONSTERCAT; ATLANTA rap record label QUALITY CONTROL; original underground and famed hip-hop DJs BEAT JUNKIES' station, DASH original workout station SWEAT; punk and metal station LOS ANARCHY; LATIN lifestyle magazine station NYLON ESPANOL, and the EMMY-nominated TV show "Manhattan" pop-up station.
In addition, legendary L.A. radio personality ART LABOE is also coming to DASH as full-time host of SNOOP DOGG's CADILLACC MUSIC station. Former MTV VJ, model, actor and comedian SIMON REX is taking over THE '90S station.
Since its official launch from beta in JUNE with well over 1 million listeners, DASH is the latest entry in the new wave of Internet broadcast radio and a home for expertly curated content and all-original programming free of ads or a monthly fee. In just four months, the ever-evolving platform added pop-up stations with EA SPORTS, NBA 2K15, the WU TANG CLAN, HBO's "Entourage" and a new full-time station with G-PEN.
Now available for iOS and ANDROID, DASH RADIO founder (and former SIRIUSXM, iHEARTRADIO and syndicated radio DJ) SCOTT KEENEY aka DJ SKEE is continuing to build out the app on its original ethos of championing artistic freedom and returning radio back into the hands of its original selector, the DJ.
DASH RADIO currently boasts over 60 stations running 24/7 while powered by the likes of SNOOP DOGG, ODD FUTURE, MAC MILLER, XXL, EAST VILLAGE RADIO, RINSE FM, the GRAMMYS and more. DASH RADIO will soon become available via the SONOS in-home wireless audio speaker system and in cars using the AT&T DRIVE initiative.
