FCC To Consider Several Radio Disputes At Next Week's Open Meeting

The FCC's Open Meeting next THURSDAY (9/17) will include consideration of several radio disputes.
Among the agenda items are ASCAP's challenge to the sale of Top 40 KXMZ/BOX ELDER, SD by CONNOISSEUR MEDIA to PANDORA RADIO, LLC.; the challenge to the sale of the former KUSF/SAN FRANCISCO (now KOSC) by the UNIVERSITY OF SAN FRANCISCO to the UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA's CLASSICAL PUBLIC RADIO NETWORK LLC.
There's also yet another appeal in the long-running battle between ED STOLZ' ROYCE INTERNATIONAL BROADCASTING CO. and ENTERCOM over the sale of then-KWOD/SACRAMENTO to ENTERCOM; 3 DAUGHTERS MEDIA's appeal of the sale of WLNI/LYNCHBURG, VA by CENTENNIAL LICENSING, LLC to MEL WHEELER, INC.; LOYOLA U. OF MARYLAND's appeal of an LPFM proceeding for a new station in BALTIMORE; TEXAS GRACE COMMUNICATIONS' request to toll the construction period for now-deleted KRZB/ARCHER CITY, TX; appeals by four parties in three LPFM cases in SAYVILLE, NY, SEATTLE, WA, and BROCKTON, MA; HISPANIC BROADCASTING INSTITUTE, INC,'s appeal of the dismissal of its application for a new LPFM at LAWRENCE, MA; appeals by TANGO RADIO, LLC and SOUTH TEXAS FM INVESTMENTS, LLC of the denial of its applications for licenses to cover now-deleted KNOS/ALBANY, TX, KANM/SKYLINE-GANIPA, TX, KKUL/TRINITY, TX, KAHA/OLNEY, TX, and KXME/WELLINGTON, TX; and the appeal by several parties of the grant of a new noncommercial FM at DILLON, SC to RADIO TRAINING NETWORK.
