MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS will flip Top 40 KDWZ/DULUTH-SUPERIOR, MN to Country on MONDAY (9/21), installing its own “DUKE FM” brand, which combines songs from the '80s, '90s and 2000s.
That news, according the DULUTH NEWS TRIBUNE, which also reports existing ‘DWZ morning teamers “JAKE & TANNER” will segue to AC sister KDAL. Adding DUKE FM would bolster the MIDWEST Country profile in the market, joining mainstream Country KTCO (KAT COUNTRY) in the format. Though it remains Top 40 as of now, KDWZ can be streamed here.
