The GRABIEN online crowdsourced news multimedia site has partnered with KRANTZ MEDIA GROUP's KMG NETWORKS, which will offer the site's content to radio stations, syndicated shows, and broadcast groups on a barter basis. PREMIERE NETWORKS is handling advertising sales.
GRABIEN is used for finding and airing news clips on shows like SEAN HANNITY, LAURA INGRAHAM, HUGH HEWITT, and others, and at stations like BONNEVILLE News-Talk KTTH-A/SEATTLE, EMMIS News-Talk KFTK/ST. LOUIS, SALEM News-Talk KNUS-A/DENVER, iHEARTMEDIA News-Talk WSCC-A (NEWS RADIO 94.3 WSC)/CHARLESTON, SC, and SCRIPPS News-Talk KFAQ-A/TULSA. The service automates and makes searchable the recording, editing, and producing clips from news coverage.
“We’ve had a lot of demand from clients for barter, and I knew nobody’s better positioned to orchestrate these deals than GARY KRANTZ and KMG,” said GRABIEN founder and editor TOM ELLIOTT. “GARY’s built a career around modernizing radio, and we’re excited GRABIEN’s being added to his arsenal.”
“One look at this platform and I was blown away” said KMG Founder/CEO GARY KRANTZ. “The GRABIEN platform has been proven in the marketplace by some of the biggest media outlets as an immediate, turn key resource for real time, late breaking, and archival news video, audio, and transcripts, with the tools to get them on the air effortlessly, from anywhere, on any device. An absolute game changer.”
