Bridge Ratings Measures Media Activity Hierarchy By Daypart

BRIDGE RATINGS has announced the results of a new study on media and social media usage throughout the day. Since JULY of 2014, the firm has measured media including broadcast radio, pureplay and simulcast Internet radio, owned music, social media sites, podcasting, as well as other entertainment media activity options available to consumers. and found specific media usage changes between dayparts.
"The benefit for marketers of seeing data like this cannot be mitigated," DAVE VAN DYKE wrote. "While Texting and Social Networks are garnering significant usage statistics in this and other studies, there are other highly engaging consumer activities that are reliable options for marketing to consumers throughout the day. The variance in usage during different times of day should be taken into consideration when trying to reach consumers."
