Steve Harvey Quickly Apologizes After Announcing Wrong Miss Universe Winner

STEVE HARVEY had a moment last night he'd be happy to forget, but instead being classy about his mistake and apologizing for it.
HARVEY hosted THE MISS UNIVERSE PAGEANT in LAS VEGAS, and announced Miss COLOMBIA as the winner -- except she was actually the first runner-up. It was Miss PHILIPPINES who should have been crowned.
HARVEY apologized live as soon as the mistake was pointed out, and took to social media to own up as well, writing, "Hey Everyone, I made a terrible mistake tonight in announcing the wrong winner and runner-up for the Miss UNIVERSE pageant. I know how much pride many countries, fans and most importantly, the contestants take in preparing for this night. I hope that you can forgive me. All contestants were amazing but I want to specifically apologize to Miss COLOMBIA and Miss PHILIPPINES again and wholeheartedly. You both represented well for your countries, families and yourselves. - SH"
