BMI Promotes Five, Hires One

BROADCAST MUSIC, INC. (BMI) has promoted five members of its Writer-Publisher team in NASHVILLE, expanding the roles and elevating responsibilities for BRADLEY COLLINS, LESLIE ROBERTS, DAVID PRESTON, PENNY GATTIS, and ERICA GLIDEWELL. Concurrently, recent BELMONT graduate JOSH THOMPSON joins the team as Assoc. Dir./Writer-Publisher Relations.
COLLINS and ROBERTS both rise to the ranks of Exec. Dir., with COLLINS handling number one parties, representing BMI on the ACM Board of Directors, oversight of nightly showcases and events, oversight of publishing company rosters, and more. ROBERTS will handle responsibilities aligned with Christian music and the BMI CHRISTIAN AWARDS, college programming, and oversight of record company rosters and representing BMI within the AIMP. PRESTON transitions to Sr. Dir. with duties including covering legacy writer relations, while GATTIS and GLIDEWELL are each upped to Dir. GATTIS will continue to spearhead the NASHVILLE film and television activities and the annual FONTANEL WRITER'S RETREAT, and GLIDEWELL will have responsibilities for accounting oversight and sponsorships, fulfillment of contracts with sponsors and event space management, and more as Dir./Strategic Partnership, Writer-Publisher Relations. GLIDEWELL will also continue to serve in her role as Exec. Assistant to BMI VP/Writer-Publisher Relations JODY WILLIAMS.
