ROB BERTRAND has exited his post as Market Chief Engineer for CBS RADIO/NEW YORK in the course of corporate restructuring. BERTRAND oversaw the technical operations of seven radio stations (WFAN-A/F, WCBS-A, WCBS-F, WWFS-F and WBMP-F) as well as the CBS SPORTS RADIO NETWORK since DECEMBER, 2010.
ROB began his career with CBS RADIO in 2005 at WCBS (NEWSRADIO 880)/NEW YORK as a staff engineer. Previously, he served as an engineer for GREATER MEDIA’s NEW JERSEY stations after graduating from RUTGERS in 2001, where he built the UNIVERSITY’s second radio station from the ground-up.
Said BERTRAND: “I had a great run at CBS and I’ll always be thankful for the chance to work with so many incredible people over the years, literally weathering storms like HURRICANE SANDY and celebrating triumphs like the cluster’s new PERFORMANCE SPANCE in NEW YORK. I’m looking forward to my next adventure in a new setting!”
